Heading and coordinating the activities of the BBC World Service Trust in West Bengal for their European Commission funded one-year project on Disaster Preparedness. Worked in close partnership with Media, Government, NGOs and Unicef. Identifying and writing good stories from NGO project areas and pitching to Media. Facilitated 40 articles within a 3-month timeframe. It also involved organising workshops and seminars by senior BBC Media Experts from the UK and preparing Press Releases and other communication materials.
